All Breed Show
The BBKA All Breed Show will be held on September 17-18, 2016. BBKA is proud to have the following specialty clubs holding specialties in conjunction with our annual shows:
- Group IV Terrier Club of Salt Lake, Inc
- Intermountain West Working Group Club
- Beehive Toy Group of Utah
There will also be 4 days of Obedience, Rally, and Agility offered by the Great Salt Lake Dog Training Club on September 15-18, 2016. Contact the GSLDC directly for information in regards to these events.
BBKA Reserved Grooming Request
This year the BBKA is providing reserved grooming space for the exhibitors. The grooming spaces are approx. 7 x 7 feet and have access to electric power. The cost for this is $20.00 per grooming space for all 4 days of the show. No reservations will be accepted for less than 4 days. Walk-in grooming space will be $10.00 per day upon arrival with no prior reservation, if space permits. For more information and to reserve your space, please see our 2016 show premium once it is available.
**Please note that no dogs may be left in the grooming building overnight.
Our annual Fun Match (Sanction B) and fund raiser for the Group IV Terrier Club and the Great Basin Non-Sporting Club will be at the Legacy Events Center inside building #2. We will announce the date shortly.
We are offering puppy classes for 4 to 6 months, 6 to 9 months, and 9 to 12 months as well as Junior Handling, Adult Handling (Champions welcome), Advanced Adult Handling (Champions welcome), and an Open class for adult dogs, as well as FSS/Misc/Rare Breeds. Groups and Best in Match will be held held for Puppies and Adults. Entries were from 10:00 - 11:30 am and judging starts at 12:00 pm. Entry fee was $5.00 per dog, and $3.00 for each additional entry on the same dog. Juniors are Free.
There will be no Exhibition Classes/Entries.
Lunch is free with an arm band, with a limit of one lunch per arm band.
The BBKA Shows and Fun Matches are held at the Legacy Events Center in Farmington Utah.
RV Parking, Electrical and non-electrical hook-ups, are offered at the show site and are available by reservation.
Breed Rings are located both inside on mats and outside on grass. Toys, and Non-Sporting (except Finnish Spitz) are generally judged inside while Sporting, Working, Terriers, Hounds, and Herding are judged outside.
Vendors are located outside.
